U2 360° TOUR REVEALED

The band have today confirmed that their U2 U2 360° Tour will open at the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona on 30th June. Sponsored by BlackBerry, it is the band’s first stadium outing since the Vertigo Tour 05/06 and follows the release of their acclaimed album, No Line On The Horizon.
Their 12th studio album, No Line On The Horizon, is already number 1 in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Japan and the Czech Republic with further chart positions to be announced this week.
Produced by Live Nation Global Touring, U2 360° will visit 14 cities across Europe including dates in Milan, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Dublin, Chorzow, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, London, Sheffield and Glasgow before finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22.
The European tour will be followed by dates in North America beginning at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 12th, 2009.

David Caddick, a conductor of Phantom, has stated:

“What is amazing about Sarah is that she has two voices, really. She can produce a pop, contemporary sound, but she can also blossom out into a light soprano. The soprano part of her voice can go up to an E natural above high C. She doesn’t sing it full out, but it is there. Jonathan Lee (Pinyin: Li Zongsheng; born 1958) is a Taiwanese record producer, singer, and songwriter. Wakin Chau is a Hong Kong singer and actor popular in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. He was known as Emil Chau through the 1980s and 1990s, and by 2000 he reverted to his given name Wakin. As of August 2007, he has released more than 40 albums and held several international concert tours. Wakin has appeared in a number of films and made guest appearances on TV and radio programs in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Alongside his singing career, he is a restaurateur and also is active in international charitable causes, such as kidney disease charities in Singapore, the January 2002 “Take a Deep Breath” concert in Taipei to raise money for local health-care organizations, Beijing’s 4th Grand Charity Drive for Children in 2005, and Jackie Chan’s all-star concerts in Las Vegas.
